“Two particles meet, and because of their differences they come into conflict. To solve the conflict, they mate with each other rather aggressively. They do feel relieved afterwards, but also realize that they have accidentally multiplied. They call their unwanted child ‘energy’. Although it is actually no more than a by-product of their sudden passion, it turns out to be very useful.” An experiment on the immediacy in distance and the distance in immediacy.

Florian Endres received his M.A. in Philosophy from Humboldt University Berlin and his B.A. in Culture and Technology from Technical University Berlin. He has been awarded the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Fellowship for Graduate Students as well as the ISAP Scholarship, which he used to study at Zhejiang University (Hangzhou) and the New School for Social Research (New York). Olga Hohmann writes essays, prose miniatures, and meandering texts designed to be read aloud. In an almost musical form, she weaves together more or less fictional narratives with found material, which coalesce into a polyphonic, rhythmic murmur. Most recently, she presented her work at venues including the Schinkel Pavillon Berlin, the Julia Stoschek Foundation Düsseldorf, the Kunstverein München, the Kunstverein Braunschweig, the Westfälischer Kunstverein Münster, the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, the Kunstverein Harburger Bahnhof, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Roter Salon at the Volksbühne Berlin, and the Archivio Conz. She was part of the “Mangrove Sunset” project at the Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin (2023). Her first book, “What I (don’t) remember”, was published in 2020, followed in 2022 by “The Overview Effect” in collaboration with Textem Verlag in Hamburg. In 2023, she published her prose debut “In deinem rechten Auge wohnt der Teufel”with Korbinian Verlag Berlin. In October 2024, she presented “Stressed/Desserts” in cooperation with Windpark Verlag Frankfurt.
